This 2.5 hour course is designed to give you a foundational understanding of the Humanitarian-Development-Peace Nexus within the water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) sector and how by collaborating together, we can achieve WASH resilience, sustainability and peace.
All content is based on the “Joint Operational Framework: WASH Resilience, Conflict Sensitivity and Peacebuilding”. This operational framework aims to increase resilience by improving cooperation between actors within the nexus. Together, we enable better WASH conditions for those living in the world’s most challenging contexts. For this online course, we will refer to this framework as the ‘JOF’.
